What Vegans Do On The Weekend | The Seed

This past weekend, Steve and I enjoyed the rainy day in NYC at The Seed. If you read my first What Vegans Do On the Weekend post from the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, you’ll know about a plant-based expo.  It was hosted by the company The Seed: Positively Plant Based, who promotes awareness and education affecting vegans, vegetarians, and the veg-curious: Health & Wellness; Food & Diet; Athletics; Family & Lifestyle; Beauty & Fashion; and Animal & Environmental Compassion. In a Nutshell

Okay yet another hiatus has come and gone. I never knew how much school could kick my butt, until I finally chose my major! I’m in love with nutrition and learning all about it and how to counsel people, but it really takes a lot out of me. ESPECIALLY when you’re taking Chemistry! I am interested in FOOD, not molecules or equations! Nevertheless, I came out of this semester alive — less than two weeks to go, and counting! Reboot Recap

So here we are, three days later…Any difficulties you ask? Yes! No! Well, Maybe! It wasn’t severe like any symptoms I’ve heard people experiencing on a cleanse, like dizziness or nausea; it was only withdrawal. Before this week we had gotten into such a groove — of snacking! Almost always between meals we’d reach for chips, tortillas, pretzels, or cookies and find ourselves eating half the bag!
